Welcome to the second British Comedian Of The Year competition! The winner will not only be able to call themselves British Comedian Of The Year, they will also claim the biggest cash prize in UK comedy - a whopping £10,001 cheque.

With a potentially career-changing prize at stake (as well as the glory!) the quality of entries this year has been incredible - acts with TV credits have put reputations on the line alongside top circuit professionals and the hottest rising starts looking to create an upset. It's the FA Cup of Comedy.

Each heat is judged by you, the audience - at the end of each heat you have the chance to vote for your favourite acts. There are 9 acts in each heat/semi-final, all competing for a place in the final at London's Comedy Store on Weds 23 November.

The competition is curated by The Stand-Up Club, whose flagship venue is in Piccadilly (London) and who produce and promote comedy clubs, corporate events and competitions around the UK.
